Accompong Maroon Ambassador Empress MonaLisa pictured at The United Nations Missions; working along side key major players in making a difference for the indigenous minorites of Jamaica; The Accompong Maroons of Cockpit Country, The 108th CERD Session concluded this afternoon November 25th, 2022; afternoon, with Jamaican Delegates taking the floor both remotely and in person, which saw them side stepping much of the questions directed at them regarding the Accompong Maroons, citing the impending court among the two. Minister Grange also insisted that the GOJ and these said Maroons have excellent relationship. The GOJ delegation stood strong by their stance that there are Indigenous Culture in Jamaica, but not Indigenous People; in fielding question from the CERD committee regarding The Accompong Maroons, Rastafari, and Taino who each presented their own reports. Jamaica was given until Tuesday November 29th, to submit outstanding responses.
